QUESTIONS ABOUT SPEECH PATHOLOGY?
HOW IT WORKS
MEET AND GREET
To determine whether speech pathology is appropriate or necessary, simply phone MESP on 0408 180 221 to discuss your concerns. An assessment session can then be scheduled, to assess the person’s skills and abilities. Assessments include taking of a case history and conducting formal and/or informal assessments. No referral is required.
CONSULTATIONS
After the assessment is completed, individualised therapy sessions are planned and scheduled, based on personal priorities and developmental needs.
FUNDING
Rebates are often available through private health insurance policies that include “Extras”. Some funding is available to people who meet certain criteria. (Click here for more information).
